Hell yeah this is incredible! You’ve been such a consistent part of Lemmy, I put you up there with Picard maneuver for staple community members. If you do stream I’d love to watch :3

I keep my feed on top 6 hours so don’t always see your posts. Every time I do though it makes me happy and feel grounded. I had a different account earlier but I remember when you first started and these have been a regular part of my online experience ever since
I’m with you on this. We need more space for bike parking AND people regularly park rent-a-bikes like assholes. Like if there’s not much room and it’s restricting a portion of a sidewalk whatever I get it. I’m cranky but not at the person who parked the bike. So many people in Seattle though stop in the middle of the bike lane and wander off, park in front of wheelchair access, or seemingly go out of their way to ensure the bike is going across the entire sidewalk like a wall
I’m rabid and hungry because Bethesda has fucked up everything they’ve touched lately and I want something that makes me feel like how old Bethesda games did. Give me Morrowind remaster damnit, and Bethesda didn’t even make Fallout 2 and NV they’d butcher remaster/remakes
You can use archinstall and it is dummy simple. Just have another computer or phone around to look things up and go down the menu like a checklist. My admittedly limited arch experience has so far been “run archinstall, use pacman to install tools as I run into things I’d like to have”. I have a Framework 16 with the built in GPU, I imagine some hardware complicates this process but just look stuff up it’s all out there unless you’re on some really wild hardware. Even without archinstall you can follow the arch wiki and you’re basically replicating what the tool does but using the wiki as your checklist and needing to type more
What if they meant there is the same number of weird people but they aren’t as weird
Hell yeah I love to see it! Unironically one of my favorite games, some of the best level design out there, boldly critiques game design and the people who are offended by games. They had an anniversary update a while back that added content and qol out of nowhere 20 years after release. I’m excited
I had that castle toy as a kid holy shit the memories tucked away in this brain
What’s going on with lemmy.world?
I used to work for a university trying to modernize how people got student and financial data. Over half my work was playing politics rooting out people who refused to change and going above their head. We had one guy who didn’t want to update a script on his end to include the bare minimum amount of ‘security’: a hard coded plain text password. It took me months and I had to go to his office to update his script and he complained about it the entire four minutes it took
House size and media consumption are going to be big factors here I think. You get four people trying to stream, game, listen to music, whatever it is people these days use phones for, etc; it’s going to really add up. Sure lots of people barely use the internet and are getting sold way more than they need but it’s not uncommon anymore for multiple hd things to be simultaneously happening in one house
