Can they release proper drivers for it, so it actually behaves comparably to the chip on a raspberry? I have an orangepi with a RK3588S and i was surprised how bad rockchip support actually is. You just straight up can not use suspend functionality on any of their SoCs no matter the OS.
Allegedly it’s also on ARM too, as they protect their Mali drivers like a dragon.

For that to not be be poopy, you would also need an open source GPU. At least shaders are realtively simple devices, especially if you don’t go the VLIW route, the others are a different question.
