The whole point of making a easy to repair and upgrade laptop is that people wouldn’t have to buy the latest model to get upgrades, they can just buy the parts they want to upgrade and swap them in their existing laptop and if the come up with a upgraded Framework 12, they can just add the year it comes out to the title

I just checked my library on protondb, seems like most games in my libraries are platinum rated for compatibility and some are even native, there are a few mostly multiplayer games that are incompatible, but I hardly play multiplayer games so I think this means my next computer upgrade is gonna be Linux. Exactly recently downloaded Libre on my PC and it looks dated and busy, plus not their fault but every Office doc I open in a Libre app looks bad, the formatting and fonts are off and every change I make it says it can’t save in the office format and suggests converting the document to ODT format, that alone will scare away casual users who don’t understand what an open format is
