0·11 months agoDBus is a system-wide messaging system. It’s for stuff like notifications and system-wide events, …or so do I think. But the aim is to allow all programs, running system-wide, to announce anything for others programs to react to.
This post requests people to use Varlink instead.
This is similar to the PulseAudio versus Pipewire and X11 versus Wayland situations.
Debian without the CLI?

Have to be honest! My own Termux install is 7 GiB! Used to be 8 with Debby on it. Used to be 3 since after uninstalling Debian. I had also cleaned out files. Will have to see why it’s 7 now.
Used to have a friend with a Fedora install that put Termux at 20 for them LOL.
Should use just Debian maybe, unless the Termux package is preferred. But having
sudois awesome!Also I think I tried and uninstalled UserLAnd like two weeks ago because it wasn’t as smooth as I expected, I think.
