Speak for yourself, Tree of Savior grabbed me hard. I could tell that it was not a good game but I stuck it out anyway for months because there was some ineffable part of it that I was just in love with.

And no, I did not have the lingering nostalgia for Ragnarok Online fanning the flames in the background.

(Okay, I realize that I am taking an objectively true fact personally, but still! My opportunities to stand up for this game are few and far between, so just let me have this.)

Less Pokémon here than I thought there would be, though it does make a showing. I do gen 2 and 3 now and again. Gen 1, I think I’ve wrung out completely, and gen 4+ (DS and onward) just doesn’t emulate as cleanly in my experience.

And I guess I’m approaching my 2nd decade of still playing certain MUDs: Achaea/Aetolia, Discworld, Lost Souls.

I don’t really game much these days, though; certainly not like I used to.
