Hadriscus@jlai.luto Games@lemmy.world•Signatures skyrocket for **Stop Killing Games** campaign after big youtubers take up the cause, resulting in 100k signatures in 48 hours. (Details on how to help in text body of post)English11·4 days agoI assume by “gaming companies” you mean game publishers. No they won’t care, in fact this initiative is not meant for them. It is meant for EU lawmakers, which after a certain signature number threshold are required to look at the issue. Once a protection is written into law, these same companies have to, of course, comply with it, or face whatever consequences were prepared for this case (fines, probably).

I have almost all of Assassins Creed on one box.3·9 days ago4 is the one on pirate ships ? I’ve always wondered if it didn’t lack intricate city parkour, which is what I dug most in the first two. I’ll try it, cheers

I have almost all of Assassins Creed on one box.4·9 days agoI played 1 when it released and 2 a few years ago. I thought the storyline was great, really long, many characters, very pleasant playthrough. I own 3 but never played it, anyone has an opinion about it ? I’ve heard better things about brotherhood and revelations but honestly I felt 2 was enough time spent in Italy
Hadriscus@jlai.luto Fuck Cars@lemmy.world•This change just happened in Lille, FranceEnglish12·11 days agoThat’s what the law says in France, at least. People are supposed to cross on crosswalks, but if they don’t and a car hits them the driver is at fault regardless. I can try to find a source in english if that’s important to you.
Anyway, context is king here and what I didn’t specify in my post above is that the space where it happened was quite crowded and ambiguous (especially for an alien like me who had seldom seen a bike lane at the time)
Hadriscus@jlai.luto Fuck Cars@lemmy.world•This change just happened in Lille, FranceEnglish14·11 days agoYea, exactly my point. I’m not denying that I should have been aware of the presence of the bike lane but it falls on the guy on a vehicle to be acutely aware of his surroundings and wary of potential collisions. I say this as a driver and a bicycler
Hadriscus@jlai.luto Fuck Cars@lemmy.world•This change just happened in Lille, FranceEnglish14·11 days agoNeither (or both?), it was an overcrowded walkable canal bank in the height of summer with faint paint marks to delimit the path of the bike “lane”. I was in the wrong in any case, what I’m complaining about is the dude’s reaction. My point is you have to be able to share the space and safely navigate what is inevitably going to be a crowded area at that time of year, especially when riding a bicycle which can be dangerous in its own right.

Hadriscus@jlai.luto Fuck Cars@lemmy.world•This change just happened in Lille, FranceEnglish1055·11 days agoI damn nearly got murdered by an angry speeding cyclist in Paris, near a canal. I crossed the lane without realizing, not being used to their presence. Bike lanes are simply nonexistent where I live, and I was only staying in Paris for a couple weeks. The dude got super mad at me, like super super mad. To this day I still fantasize about throwing him and his fucking bike in the canal. I really should have done it… why do I have to second-guess everything

I visited the founder’s Bluesky account. It’s terrible. The guy is extremely confused

I am offering information as to my perception of your communication, but you are entirely free to disregard it, I have no stake in this

Of course they fucking grab it. They have 45 backdoors with golden handles otherwise they’re show the fucking source
Hadriscus@jlai.luto Linux@lemmy.ml•How can we combine two audio recording inputs (mics) into one audio input source in Manjaro?21·15 days agoHi, for what it’s worth, as someone who’s a spectator to all this, I both appreciate the technical advice that you have been giving out and thought your comments came across as somewhat condescending and irritating.
Ah, yes, the supergrown chicken… Pollos Hormonos.
Yea I personally couldn’t get really into it. I mean it’s fascinating, beautiful, very intense (it has all the extremes of space)… but I’m stuck and can’t find the motivation to go further. It’s pretty cryptic. If you’re into puzzle games you might crack it better than I do
