Actually Sonic 3 is a slight improvement in this regard once you get the hang of things - Tails can be more helpful, and carry Sonic to higher ledges
Sonic 2.
Controlling Tails can be good fun if you’re very young and don’t fully know what you’re doing!
Can be hard keeping both characters on screen at times though.
After resisting at first, I started listening to the RDR1 soundtrack again recently and then the nostalgia became so strong I just had to buy it. I bought the Switch cartridge from Amazon for £30 a few days ago.
Is it a fair price? Not really. Is it a game I don’t expect a heavy discount on any time soon because it’s Rockstar? Yes. Am I enjoying playing again, at way higher resolution and clarity than it ever was on PS3? Absolutely.
It’s actually a better port than I was expecting, and much more of an upgrade than I expected from PS3.
Amazing!
That distro is highly deserving of the praise it gets.
Hope you get on ok with the rest of Mint (and Cinnamon) 👍
From memory….
If you open Driver Manager after installation it will say you need to either connect to Ethernet or insert the installation USB. Using the Installation USB is fine.
It should then automatically detect you have a Broadcom WiFi module and just give you a checkbox you can click next to the correct driver.
It will install the driver from the USB, say you need to restart and then you should be done! Upon rebooting your Mac should immediately recognise available WiFi networks and let you join them.
I have WiFi problems on most distros with my 2012 Retina MBP. Generally I can’t get it working.
I didn’t have as many issues in the past, but the only two distros I can get it working on these days are EndeavourOS and Linux Mint.
Mint requires installing the proprietary drivers after installation, which is easy to do.
EndeavourOS is actually easier and works “out of the box” for me. But I need to change it to use WPA2 instead of WPA3 for it to work on my Mac, being as old as it is.
The only problem I’ve had was the Mac not going asleep properly, and immediately waking up. But that’s something I encountered on other distros including Mint also.
Found a fix for it.
Ctrl key hasn’t been a problem. Often on many distros the old hybrid Nvidia graphics and the old Broadcom card were both problems. But ok on Mint and EOS.
