Nowhere in the email or any of the Support pages did Google say how to remove all Gemini integrations from my phone.
I then emailed Google PR and… I asked if someone could provide actionable guidance for my readers who want to ensure Gemini integrations are completely disabled. Instead of answering the question, the person responding to my email wrote, in part: “This update is good for users: they can now use Gemini to complete daily tasks on their mobile devices like send messages, initiate phone calls, and set timers while Gemini Apps Activity is turned off. With Gemini Apps Activity turned off, their Gemini chats are not being reviewed or used to improve our AI models.”

Literally that reads like you can’t turn it off and they just scrape less of your data on a technicality.

I fled from one parent before 18 and managed to basically force my estranged father into taking me in but the only reason I didn’t get kicked out at 18 by him was because I had 2 months of school left, was gone the second that wasn’t true anymore (both Gen X).

That’s the policy on steam keys. If you are not using their steam keys it’s not covered by their contract agreement at least.

The lawsuit is not yet finished and while we can take their complaints into account we can’t take them for fact.
The case was already dismissed once because they argued the 30% was controlling the market but it’s been there since day 1 of their storefront and has not changed to force game price changes. Beyond that they argue that Valve bought servers to take them offline to push players to them but… That’s not really on this point of price controlling or the ability sell non steam keys.

Literally RuneScape does this by offering memberships not available on steam.

I do not see how these are comparable and don’t think of steam as a utility that owns the singular option for infrastructure as it’s a digital service that others can and will spin up to avoid using Steams backend.
