Yikes. I’m over here still struggling to remember “sudo apt-do get install (program)(version)”.
Flatpak, I love you. You click the thing, and you get the thing, and the thing just works.
I hate you, terminal.

Oregon is the one that surprises me.
All the other green states are the low income states (except for the north east states like Maine, and that little corner).
But then there’s Oregon, right between yellow California, and yellow Washington.
I’m also surprised NY is yellow. I thought the bulk of their population was JUST NYC. And most people in NYC don’t even own cars.
Or is this a percentage of car owners only?
Who said he’s leaving? He’s been talking this whole time about 2024 being the last election you ever need to vote in.
The closest thing they had to internet explorer dominance is saying that it was manditory to be installed in every OS. The OS had market dominance, and you couldn’t uninstall internet explorer.
But actual usage? Everybody used Netscape.
…please don’t give them ideas.
Yes…no…maybe? I don’t know. Can you repeat the question?
Someone, somewhere, said they don’t like you.
Now CRY!
checks the headline
That checks out.
I last checked in December. At that time Linux had an all time high usage rate of 5.6%. For a platform that’s existed since the early 90s, 5.6% is the highest they’d ever achieved.
So I wouldn’t exactly say microsoft EVER pissed it away. They still have, and always have had, dominant market share of users. And they do so by charging hundreds of dollars as opposed to a free alternative.
“Play this clickbait garbage game, you stupid idiot!”
I can tell you’ve worked in marketing. That would be a GREAT slogan!
We live in the dumbest timeline.
Then they shouldn’t be using materials that succumb to potholes this quickly.
We have potholes in Ohio. Mostly caused by salt on the roads, and lack of maintence over the years.
This road opened on June 5th. Should be no salt. And there hasn’t been years of deterioration.
If this pavement material is this weak, then it has no right being used here.
Oh…yeah. I don’t get ANY of that. I get weird random shit, and I’m like “Yeah, sure, let’s watch this video on the mating habbits of ladybugs! Why not?”
Spoiler alert, the concept of cuckolding absolutely exists in the world of ladybugs. She makes her mate watch as she fucks other ladybugs. No, I’m not joking. That’s a thing. Thanks youtube!
I don’t know what you’re talking about. I love my reccomended videos. I just watched a video about the reasons so many old subway stations use tile on the walls.
Spoiler alert, it’s because in the early 19th century these stations were poorly lit, and white tile reflects light. So it made a small amount of light act as a bigger source of light. Plus it doesn’t degrade and break down like paint or wood does over time.
Just one example of something that I would have never even wondered, but now I watched an interesting video explaining it. There was more to it than that, but I’m not going to go point by point of the video.
