I don’t know. It seems like they’re addressing the issues that the first one had. It was too safe and far too full of itself. It should have just been one big planet and a bit less goofy. Seems like the next one is shaping up for that. Also, if there is a game company that I trust right now it’s obsidian. I was super disappointed with the ending just being the same slides they used for new Vegas, hopefully we at least get a more satisfying ending.

YouTube “algorithms” are nonsense. I watch one deep dive into the fallout games and despite the fact that I have, and continue to watch British TV shows it’s relentless in showing me deep dives into “fallout lore”. What I’ve chosen is like 3% of what I usually watch. It’s not a very popular genre in comparison to, oh, the fucking BBC. Still, it’s all of the sudden its the only thing that gets suggested.

My hope was that AI would, at least, bear some disgust for the worst of humanity. My new fear is that AI will bear disgust for humanity.

I obey the traffic laws. I’m apparently one of the only people in my town that has read them. I like riding my bike. I like my town. People Hollar at me from their cars. I get called “fag” every second day. For taking a bike ride.

Half the kids in my school lived in town, they all walked home. A lot of our streets didn’t have proper sidewalks.

If EA or Ubisoft don’t get their shit together this won’t be enough.

As a cyclist I’ve noticed a, harshness, recently. In Ontario our premier did a distraction campaign where he villanised bike lanes. Turns out he was talking about a couple of specific ones but all of the sudden, after biking in town for years. People nearly hit me. There is no Lee way any more. I’ve been swiped by mirrors and pickup trucks try to roll coal on me (pretty sure you little dicks need a diesel and your just fucking up your engines for nothing) because I like a bike ride on a sunny day. Or want to stay in shape. Or need to get to work. It really does feel like “get a haircut and drive an f150!!!” around here and that wasn’t always the case.

She put him in the fucking public eye for what all teenagers, no matter what, do. Like, this is how you get an incel, or worse. Right? Shame on this woman.

Did you play the 2016 one or eternal? My first ever game was the first doom. Doom 3 is a great game but it just wasn’t really doom. Getting into the lore was cool though. A roommate forced me to try doom 2016 and it immediately brought back the memories and feelings, they also use and continue the lore in a non invasive way. I haven’t yet played dark ages but the modern ones are very much the successor to the originals.

It’s by the same folks that made that quasi-mmo Conan game. The bones were in it. It was just unpolished and sparse. If it’s the same core team and they’ve learned their lessons the Dune game should be pretty dope. I’m hoping it shows other MMOs that MMO isn’t a playstyle.
