What is the acceptable amount of dead children, that if kept at that level makes letting people drive gigantic emotional support trucks worth it?

The main character starts the game literally giving himself a traumatic brain injury by drowning himself in alcohol. It’s not really the kind of RPG where you can play a self-insert, the player character is an actual character with his own backstory. Not being able to make good choices because of the player character’s personal trauma and limitations is part of the story that the game is telling.
You can criticize Zionism as an ideology, but you can’t call for its end.
You can refer to the current Israeli government as “criminal,” but you can’t call for the dissolution of the state of Israel as it currently exists.
You see the problem, surely?
I’m sure the velociraptors helped you stay focused too.
Then that would be an issue with lemmy.ml, not lemmy as a whole, no?
Yep, I’m a total hypocrite for defending a left-wing social media platform from your sealioning and concern trolling while the majority of platforms are undergoing a fascist takeover. If you want more diversity of opinion on lemmy then let it grow and the diversity will grow with it. Just don’t be surprised when a consensus forms among those who are fleeing fascist platforms.
What is it exactly that you’re proposing lemmy mods do differently then? Do you believe that moderate alternative views are being broadly censored across lemmy? If not, and it’s just downvotes and “groupthink” you’re complaining about, then just state your “reasonable and moderate” disagreements and let the votes fall where they may. Your alternative views are not entitled to approval, and downvotes are not censorship.
I agree that policy changes can prevent these children’s deaths. Speed limits are a nice start, but we can do better. Size limits for personal vehicles, investment in public transit and pedestrian infrastructure, repealing the myriad laws that enforce car dependency such as parking requirements, increased density and reduced zoning restrictions, banning cars in city centers, etc.
