I wouldn’t stress about it. Code was never meant to be edited in a web browser anyway.

C and Bash are the only languagss that man pages are useful for
I think i saw a vscode plugin on the page
Good to see tabs’ fundamental flaw was solved. I think I’ll be switching to this.
I think it’s commendable to vertically align code. (Just not with tabs.) It makes it look neater.

SubArcticTundra@lemmy.mlto Fediverse@lemmy.world•lemm.ee is shutting down at the end of this monthEnglish4·1 month agoI think somebody shoukd do an academic study on Lemmy, how it differs from Reddit, its weaknesses, and why it might be failing. So that there is a definitive cause to its weakness that can be pointed to for anyone willing to give it another shot.
Secondly, I think it might be a good idea for the admins of the servers to have a video call. This will make the (at least admin) community feel much more personal in a way that comment threads cannot and will lead to a stronger sense of community. Actually I’m impressed that Lemmy as a project has made it this far without the developers having ever been able to plan the project together in a group.
There’s so much duplicate code my head hurts
You can short their stocks

Except that it’s not the syntax that makes programming hard, it’s the thought process, right?
Hmm fair point. But even if you have breaks the average person doesn’t want to have to bike uphill all the time and even so the city is too vast for biking to be time-effective. Most people use the tram network instead (which goes up the hills)
Just to illustrate this is what the hills over here look like:
I think Prague was just not destined to be a bike city. Even if the bike lanes were perfect, You’ve still got a ton of hills in all directions
I just read the headers
