Oof, these highlighted parts from only one video are already enough for me. This looks very stressful, I don’t think I could finish a whole ride with one of these.

Yeah, sounds about right.
Watching the video that’s still pretty tame. Not good, but nothing to make the news either. I expect much worse.
I wonder how long the facade will hold. They can’t restrict the service to pro-Tesla influencers forever and the safety guys will have to go eventually. How long before weird or dangerous incidents start to happen? Days, weeks? It won’t take months, of that I am certain.
Execute “ujust” and marvel at what’s possible right out of the box. If you used KDE check out some simple tips on how to configure cool windows effects. A little wobble makes all the difference. Browse the apps you can install, there are some pretty neat things in there you probably never heard of before.
And don’t forget: once you got the things you want working, let the system fade into the background. No need to constantly tinker with your distribution unless you enjoy it.
Sell, sell, sell! Intel stocks, I mean.
What I found was that once everything was set up I just started using my software. The system gently faded into the background and things just work. Every so often I need to figure out something new, but that occurs only every few weeks. At that interval I actually enjoy the learning experience.
Do investors still fall for this?
I read through these and it’s 80% AI crap that no one asked for. New features? Recall and copilot trash. Bugs? Problems with Recall and copilot. I’m so glad I switched to Linux some months ago. If Microsoft doesn’t see reason soon, they might just kill windows.
Most definitely! And in a couple of years we will hear about the lack of developers again. It’s not my first rodeo.
Imagine typing deeply personal info into a Meta app.
To me it’s funny that a case even needs to be made. I’ve reviewd enough output of AI agents to confidently dismiss it as largely trash. Given enough time, this hype will blow over and LLMs will be another useful but not revolutionary tool for programmers. It won’t even come close to replacing humans and it will require skilled developers to be used efficiently. Software craftsmanship is as valuable as it’s ever been.
Exactly!
It the Zune for gaming.

If regular school shootings were no reason to actually do something, why would regular deadly accidents with self driving systems be one? I’m always amazed by what Americans are willing to tolerate.
Uhm, we have release pipelines in Azure DevOps that do all of this and much more with precision and reliability. Relying on an LLM for actual releases to production of all things seems like a pretty big and wholly unnecessary gamble.
Never mind, scarier stuff is being released from day one: https://fuelarc.com/cars/tesla-robotaxi-freaks-out-and-drives-into-oncoming-traffic-on-first-day/
